Career
The Tillman Health Spa is the fruition of a dream of Dr.Bessie Jo Tillman. She started her medical career as one of two original full-time, emergency room physicians at Mercy Medical Center in Redding, California. During her seven-year tenure there she observed the often catastrophic consequences of both negative lifestyle choices, and environmental toxins, on the human body. Observing these debilitating disease processes, and the chronic and acute pain associated with them, motivated her to explore both the causes and remedies for these issues. She devoted many years researching proper diet, exercise and detoxification methods. She incorporated what she learned into a wellness and integrative medical practice bringing relief to many patients, some who had even given up hope of again living a normal healthy life.
What came next...
Dr. Tillman retired in 2003 to write and teach what she had learned and practiced. Her dream of helping people live a healthy, vibrant life did not retire. Early in her life, before embarking on her medical career, she was a bit of a sugar addict and made many unhealthy food choices. In Spite of cleaning up her diet, practicing a healthy lifestyle and utilizing a number of detoxification methods throughout a period of 34 years, she had her own bout with cancer. While recovering she and her husband Pat, investigated methods of returning her body to a healthy state. In late 2018 that search led them to Seattle, Washington to view and experience two new healing devices named the HOCATT and the HUGO PEMF. They are both described below. They both came to the realization that the health benefits these devices provide, combined with Dr. Tillman’s knowledge, could potentially, provide significant health benefits in the lives of others. While the doctor did not wish to embark on the rigors of another medical practice, the desire to help others in their quest for healthy bodies, remained. Her dream was realized when she and her husband, opened the Tillman Health Spa featuring the HOCATT and the HUGO PEMF. The unique and exciting features of the Spa are described here on the website.
